Hi,

You may refer the Wiimote Whiteboard chapter in the Coding4fun book
http://books.google.com/books?id=d1QC69atuocC&lpg=PP1&dq=brian%20peak%20coding4fun&pg=PA377#v=onepage&q&f=false

Basically, the relation between the Wiimote's view and the actual cursor position is mapped using planar homography.

The book link that I have provided should give quite the details you need.

However, certain parts of the book is not available and thus you may need to purchase one. :)

Alternatively, you can just go through the source code to understand how it works. It should be available at the Coding4Fun book website. The code there should contain more comments as compared to the Johnny Lee's Wiimote Whiteboard.

Thanks for many help.. Mr. boonjin and Mr. Zainey.. :)

I have a problem with my college teacher question, he said "how wiimote detect an IR dot in the whiteboard?, how do you know the coordinate when you point any IR dot in whiteboard?"..

at that time I answered, "maybe we can use calibration 4 point in the corner to be a limit", but I haven't any idea to explain more.. I have try to searching in google the algorithm for detect IR dot with wiimote's camera but I haven't meet yet..

could you help me with this problem?
you are an expert master wiimote project..

so many thanks for your help...

thank you,

pradito

Hi,

I have already provided the algorithm at the first post.

You may google to look for more information.

The calibration will produce a homography matrix that can be used to map any new points from the Wiimote to the corresponding points on the screen.
