I have a 50 inch samsung plasma tv I am trying to use as the whiteboard. Im having problems getting a good read from it though. Looking at thethe tv through my digital camera to view the ir light shows me it is absorbing probably a bit too much light. Is there anything besides cleaning the screen that may help?

Hi,

You may want to try placing the Wiimote at a tighter angle towards the screen and when using the IR pen, point towards the direction of the Wiimote. This can be seen at the end of the Smoothboard User Guide, http://smoothboard.org/manual/Common%20Issues.htm#_Toc274086165

You can also roughen up the surface of the IR LED so that the IR emitted is dispersed through the sides.
