Wiimote does not stay connected

I use a bluetooth adapter by Micro Innovations. It has no troubles finding the Wiimote and appears on the HID chart. The only problem is that my Wiimote never stays connected and when it does it's for a half a second.
P.S. Sorry if this has been posted already.

Actually I got it connected. still it does not stay connected for more than half a second. Though I time it so that when I'm in that half a second time spand I open the Exe. and it stays connected. Pretty weird.

Do you have a teatimer, registry change blocker or some other form of protection preventing changes to system settings and registries?
What stack are you using?
